RADIA IS COMMITTED TO PROTECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION OF JOB APPLICANTS

1. Who We Are

Radia (“Radia,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is one of the largest and most progressive radiology groups in the nation. We are committed to building and maintaining a team of talented, dedicated, and collaborative professionals. This Recruitment Privacy Notice (“Notice”) is issued on behalf of Radia and explains what information we collect and how we process it as part of an application for employment.

Radia is sensitive to privacy issues, and it is important to us to protect the Personal Information of job applicants. This Notice details the privacy policies of Radia that apply to applicants for employment and operates as an extension of our general privacy policy, which can be found here. We provide this Notice to inform you about our privacy practices with respect to the job application process, the kinds of information we may collect, how we intend to use and share that information, and how you can correct or update such information.

This Policy applies only to our business. It does not apply to the policies or practices of other entities, including other websites that might be linked to our website. Please refer to the privacy policies on any third-party websites, software, or services to learn how they use your personal information.

2. Definition of Personal Information

“Personal Information” is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“Individual”); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number (such as a Social Security number or driver’s license number), location data (such as an address, GPS coordinates), contact information (such as a telephone number or an email address) an online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person. Under specific laws, personal information may include any information relating to a household.

3. About Radia Recruitment

You can inquire about or apply for an open position with us by selecting the “Careers” menu option on our website. Individuals making inquiries about physician careers will be able to contact us through a dedicated email address (jobs@radiax.com). Individuals making inquiries about non-physician careers will be routed to a website administered by ADP, LLC. The privacy notice for this website can be viewed here. For both physician and non-physician inquiries, you will have an option to submit an application for any of the specific jobs posted. Please note, if you choose to participate in a job alerts service through a third party such as LinkedIn or similar employment or professional opportunity networking service, there might be service features that collect and process your personal information independently of Radia’s recruitment process. Radia has no control over the privacy policies of such service providers, and we encourage you to become familiar with the policies of those separate, independent service providers.

4. Information We Collect

We collect Personal Information for recruitment purposes through our online application process and through other means of communication such as email and telephone. The types of Personal Information collected are:

  • Contact Information, including your name, email, and phone number;
  • Resume;
  • Education and Experience, such as skills, attributes, work experience, professional certifications, and licenses;
  • Equal-Opportunity Information such as gender, ethnicity/race, veteran status, disability; and
  • Residency/Citizenship and work visa status.

As required under law, we invite you to participate in a self-identification survey and notify you of your rights pursuant to federal labor laws.  Participation in this survey is voluntary.

We require you to provide us with specific Personal Information as part of the job application process. We treat all applicants equally and meet our regulatory obligations in our recruitment process. If you choose not to provide us with certain Personal Information as requested, we may not be able to consider you for the job position, either because we are unable to assess your suitability or qualifications for the job role or because we are unable to meet our statutory obligations as a result of the lack of information provided. California Consumer Privacy Act. 

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), we are required to specifically identify the categories of personal information we collect for applicantswho are California residents (broadly referred to as “consumers” in the CCPA), including during the preceding 12 months. These categories are:

  • Identifiers such as a real name, alias, postal address, email address, unique personal or online identifier, Internet Protocol address;
  • Social Security number, driver’s license, state identification card or passport number, signature, physical characteristics (e.g., through a photograph, or video camera), education background, employment or employment history;
  • Characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law for consumers who participate in the EEOC Voluntary Self-Identification survey;
  • Internet or other electronic network activity information, including information regarding a consumer’s interaction with an Internet Website, application, or advertisement;
  • Professional or employment-related information; and
  • Inferences drawn from any of the information collected to create a profile about an applicant reflecting the applicant’s preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes.

5. How We Use collected information 

We collect and process Personal Information for recruitment purposes, including information that helps us manage applications and determine how you meet our organizational and job role selection criteria.  We also communicate with you about your application including requests for additional information, interviews and notifications regarding the process.  We process Personal Information as we, in our sole discretion, otherwise determine to be necessary to comply with applicable law. Most of the Personal Information collected is provided by you as part of your application. We may verify information provided such as your educational qualifications or references. We might also collect Personal Information through any social media account(s) that you might maintain.

6. How your personal information is shared 

We share your personal information with the following types of recipients:

•          Third-party service providers. We currently offer applicants the option to utilize certain features of ADP’s “Workforce” site for our online recruitment. According to ADP’s Privacy Policy, ADP has adopted Binding Corporate Rules (“BCR”) that have been approved by European Union Data Protection Authorities. Again, we encourage you to review ADP’s privacy notice, which is available here.  

           If it is necessary for an applicant to travel as part of the recruitment or application process, in most cases we will connect an applicant directly with a separate travel agency service to make travel arrangements. That service likely will collect information directly from the applicant. But in some cases, we might need to assist an applicant with making travel arrangements, and in such cases we might collect and share with third party travel companies (e.g., agencies or carriers) personal information such as name, data of birth, address, telephone number, email address, driver’s license number, passport number.

Please note we may change the functionality of our online recruitment platform to involve different recruitment and networking services at any time without notice to you, but we will take steps to ensure that protection of your data privacy rights is not impaired by such change. We also use third-party service providers for services like cloud hosting, analytics or other technical tools. These service providers only process your data as directed by us. We do not sell your personal information to third parties as part of any employment application process.

•          Law enforcement or regulatory authorities, government agencies, courts of law or other third parties.

7. Data Transfers

All Personal Information sent or collected by us may be stored anywhere in the world, including but not limited to, in the United States, in the cloud, our servers, the servers of our affiliates or the servers of our service providers.  Your Personal Information may be accessible to law enforcement or other authorities pursuant to a lawful request.

8. Personal Information Rights

In certain jurisdictions, individuals have rights in relation to Personal Information. Where Personal Information is collected for recruitment purposes and that Personal Information is not required for regulatory or legal purposes or the like, we offer you a choice to limit the use and disclosure of your Personal Information. When applying for a job with Radia, you may elect to follow our company posts in news feeds and receive job alerts. You may opt-out of these additional communication services by unchecking the boxes under the “+ Follow” button on Radia’s LinkedIn page. You may also contact us with your Personal Information inquiries or for assistance in modifying or updating your Personal Information and to exercise your rights regarding your Personal Information. 9. Storage of Personal Information

Personal Information is processed and stored at various locations including on servers located in the United States of America and throughout the world.  

10. Data Retention

We retain and use the Personal Information we collect to fulfil the processing purposes mentioned above.  We also may retain application information we collect to address any questions that might arise from an application, resolve disputes associated with an application, or for potential recruitment. In the event you are successful with your job application and commence employment with Radia, your Personal Information is retained further and becomes part of your employment profile.

11. Security of Your Information

Radia uses technical and organizational measures to protect the Personal Information that we store, transmit, or otherwise process against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access.  We regularly consider appropriate new security technology and methods as we maintain and develop our software and systems. Unfortunately, the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us. We do not accept liability for unintentional disclosure. If we learn of a data breach that is likely to affect the security of your Personal Information, we may attempt to notify you electronically via email so you can take appropriate protective steps and/or by posting a notice on our website if a data breach occurs. Depending on where you live, you may have a legal right to receive notice of a security breach in writing.
